The PS-2400 series provides dependable performance in a variety of multi-camera CCTV installations. All models include self-resetting SmartFuse protection on each output, on-board surge suppression and a roomy housing with extra space for wiring. Multiple cable entry knockouts are provided.
NEW: All models indicated by "24/28V AC" provide the option of 24V or 28V AC from each output. This allows the installer to select the higher voltage for cameras which are located at the end of a long cable run subject to significant voltage drop.
Other models, indicated by "24V" are also available in 28V versions - Replace the "24" with a "28" (e.g. PS-2432 becomes PS-2832. For guidance on when 28V may be required, see our CCTV Application Guide.
If a weatherproof (NEMA 4) outdoor box is required, add an "E" to the end of the part number (e.g. PS-2480E).

FOR REGULAR CAMERAS All models are SmartFused at 1.85 Amps on each output. 4 and 8 camera models are supplied in a 9 x 8 x 3.5 inch metal can. 16 camera models are supplied in an 11.25 x 11.25 x 3.5 inch metal can.

MODELS WITH INTEGRATED BALUNS FOR VIDEO OVER UNSHIELDED TWISTED PAIR (UTP)
These models provide a convenient way to combine power and video transmission. Each balun has a range of 1000 ft over UTP or 2000 ft over CAT5e cable. Use with TW-1000A baluns at the cameras.
PS-2440B: 4 power outputs, 4 Amps total power (24/28V AC). 4 passive baluns.
PS-2480B: 8 power outputs, 4 Amps total power (24/28V AC). 8 passive baluns.
